GA 2007 Meeting

Cards from Hearing: These were distributed for the following people to summarize or transcribe and then send the info from them to the Commission:

Theological Group Correspondence: Jacqui will take over from Linda correspondence with UU Theological groups.

UU World Correspondence: Mark reported on correspondence with Chris Walton of the UU World.  This communication included various ways for the UU World to work with the CoA.  Mark will send notes from the conversation to the CoA.  Orlanda will take up correspondence with UU world.

CUC P&P Project: Mark has been in contact with the CUC regarding their P&P Process.  Mark will be sending the CoA a report on what he has learned from them.  Mark also encourages that we formalize a continuing relationship with their taskforce.  Michael will pick this correspondence up.  Mark will give the appropriate contact information to him.

Symposium Project: Michael and Orlanda reported on the progress of the symposium project.  Funding is still yet to be procured.  Orlanda will hear back within a month or so on a couple of possibilities.  If these do not pan out, we will be able to apply to UUFP in September with notice given one month later.  Right now, neither UUFP nor Veatch are giving out money.  Bill Sinkford and Gini Courter are willing to advocate on our behalf for funding.  If we do not receive funding in the next month, we will need to move the symposium back to April.  If this is the case, the Commission granted Michael and Orlanda authority to make the call to move the symposium.  Whichever meeting the symposium occurs at will last until Monday instead of Sunday.
