LREDA is happy to announce the 2009 slate of nominees for LREDA Board!

 

Gabrielle Farrell for Vice President, Fall Conference portfolio

Gabrielle Farrell is Director of Religious Education Ministries at All Souls Church, Unitarian, in Washington, DC finishing her eighth year there. Previously she served the First Unitarian Church of St. Louis, Missouri, for eleven years as its religious educator. 

 

Gabrielle has been instrumental in enhancing LREDA chapters and has served on various LREDA committees, including the 21st Century Fund and the Nominating Committee. She has a special interest in curriculum work, and has authored online curricula for the UUA's Tapestry of Faith program as well as others. Her newest passion is introducing and cementing multigenerational living and learning in our congregations.

 

Lynn Hunt for Member-at-Large, Member Concerns portfolio

Lynn Hunt has served First Unitarian Church of St. Louis as the Religious Educator for eight years.  Previously she served the Ethical Society of St. Louis in the religious education program for thirteen years.

Lynn was raised a Unitarian and was active in LRY. As a young parent, she taught Sunday School, was a member of the RE Committee and a youth group advisor. She later developed curricula, took on District work in various capacities, and became a LREDA Good Officer. She has served on LREDA committees, is a mentor for the Credentialing program, and became a Credentialed religious educator in April 2008.
 

Esther Rosado for Nominating Committee

Esther Rosado is Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford in Massachusetts for five years. She previously served the Unitarian Universalist Area Church of First Parish in Sherborn for a year.

Esther served as treasurer to the NALREDA Chapter, and was on the Executive Committee of the Mass Bay Religious Education Team.
