Manish Mishra is a Unitarian Universalist (UU) seminarian at Harvard Divinity School. He comes to ministry by way of an earlier career as a United States diplomat during the Clinton Administration. His UU experience includes serving as a Trustee at All Souls Church Unitarian, in Washington D.C. and leadership positions on the Diverse and Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries (DRUUMM) Youth and Young Adult Committee and the Asian/Pacific Islander UU Caucus. Manish will also be joining the Unitarian Universalist Association's Commission on Appraisal at the 2003 General Assembly for a six-year term. Manish's preparation for ministry includes having served as Intern Minister at All Souls Church in Greenfield, Massachusetts and as Chaplain at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. Additionally, as an educator, Manish has taught Religious Studies at Milton Academy and at Northfield Mount Hermon School. He received his B.Sc. from Georgetown University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude, and recipient of the Hudson Medal in Arab/Islamic Studies.
