The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South County seeks a permanent quarter-time (13 hours per week) music director for our welcoming, 130-member congregation in beautiful Peace Dale, RI starting January 2010. Work year will be September through June, including Sunday worship services and Christmas Eve. Pay will be $9,000 – $11,000 per year depending on experience & qualifications.

Brief Position Description:

UUCSC congregants heartily enjoy worshiping and celebrating with music. It is a critical component in our worship services. The music director is charged with the overall supervision and artistic direction of the music/choral program for Sunday services. He or she will be proficient in piano/keyboard and will collaborate with the minister, the music and worship committees, and other worship leaders in creating services.
