The UU church of St. Petersburg is looking for a pianist (and organist, if possible) to fill the position starting 13 May and throughout our summer services, Sunday mornings at 11AM, with a flat rate of $75 per Sunday.  Based on performance, the term may be lengthened to include the music and choir year starting Fall 08.

• Must be comfortable with a piano, able to sight-read hymns and simple pieces.
• Must be able to provide at least one solo piece per week for Offertory.
• Must communicate and plan well, with numerous people about the music for Sunday services.  Is supervised by the Music director.
• (optional) Should be available to periodically (and for additional pay) play for services outside the church-- memorial services, weddings, vow renewals, etc.
• Applicant need not be Unitarian Universalist to apply, but should honor the values reflected in the spiritual community and play music accordingly.
